Dr. Doug Damron, Sr. Pastor

Pastor Doug Damron was born and raised in Amherst, Ohio near Cleveland. He and his wife Kimberly have been married for ten years. They have two children Wesley and Clayton. Doug is a graduate of Kent State University, Asbury Theological Seminary, and received his doctorate at United Theological Seminary in Dayton, Ohio. “The Persuasive Power of Humor in Preaching” is the topic of his dissertation. Doug served two churches before being appointed Senior Pastor of Epiphany United Methodist Church in January of 2003.  Hobbies include reading, fantasy baseball managing, running and weightlifting, tail gating with friends, and Cleveland Indians baseball. Rev. Lisa Kerwin, Associate Pastor

Lisa is the Pastor of Care Ministries & Congregational Life at Epiphany. In addition to Pastoral Care, she gives leadership to Stephen Ministry, Love-In-Action, Martha’s Ministry, and other care giving ministries. She acts as an advocate and gives support to Adult Discipleship, ministry and mission, worship, and evangelism. Lisa graduated from United Theological Seminary in May 2002, with a Master’s Degree in Specialized Ministries with an emphasis in care-giving and counseling. Her undergraduate degree is in Behavioral and Social Sciences from the University of Maryland. She is married to Tim who plays in the Praise Band, and they have a daughter, Erin, son, Kyle, and three grandchildren: Noah, Sam & Annalee. Email

Scott Russ, Director of Youth Ministry

Scott grew up in Northeast Ohio &  he and his wife,  Shelly, have 4 children: Zachary, Katelyn and Mallory, and Benjamin. He graduated from Liberty University in ’91 with a B.A. in Biblical Studies with an emphasis in Youth Ministry. Scott then received his Masters of Divinity Grand Rapids Theological Seminary in ’96 with an emphasis in Christian Education.  He served as full time youth pastor in two churches before coming to Epiphany and enjoys movies, reading, running. Chester Imhausen, Director of Traditional Music

Chester is a graduate of the College-Conservatory of Music at University of Cincinnati in Music Education, and brings a fine history of musical excellence to Epiphany's Traditional Music Program. In addition to having served as a music teacher in the Forest Hills School District for 35 years, he also served in a number of capacities at Norwood Grace United Methodist, including Director of Music. During his tenure at Grace, Chester oversaw flourishing programs involving adult and youth choirs, handbells programs, and more.

Chester has one grown son who lives in Boston, and in his spare time enjoys digital photography, continuing his education and listening to music. Email

Susan Eltringham, Organist

Susan is Epiphany's organist, and is married to David and has two children, Matt and Anna. Susan has been actively involved in Church Music since receiving a Bachelor of Music degree from Indiana University in 1981 and a Masters of Church Music from Scarritt College in Nashville, Tennessee in 1983.

Susan serves as Organist/Pianist for the traditional worship service and she also directs one of the adult handbell choirs. Susan is a published composer, having written several children’s anthems and children’s music material for the United Methodist Publishing House. “I’m excited to be at such a vibrant and growing church where so many opportunities for music ministry exist. Our diverse worship styles allow for a broad variety of musical styles, which I enjoy.”

Cindy Gordon, Manager of Congregational Finance

Cindy has been a member of Epiphany since 1996 and has held several staff positions at the church. Some of those include: Director of Children's Ministries, Preschool Liaison, Church Treasurer and currently Manager, Congregational Finance. Cindy is a member of the Love In Action and Love in Stitches group and likes to help out with the Senior High Youth Group and Confirmation. Cindy and her husband, Rex have two children--Adam and Marisa.  She enjoys knitting, reading, traveling and spending time with her family and good friends. She is also an active member of the Greater Cincinnati Walk to Emmaus.

Brenda Jones, Manager of Congregational Communications

Brenda has been a member at Epiphany UMC since Jan 2003 and joined the Epiphany staff in February, 2004 as the pastoral assistant. She has a bachelor’s degree in Business Management from the University of Cincinnati. For 17 years, she worked as lead analyst for payroll and accounting mainframe computer programs at GE. After retiring from GE, Brenda worked at the Cincinnati Zoo as their Stewardship and Recognition Coordinator for the Development Department. Brenda & her husband, Jay resided in Loveland, OH.  They have 4 children, Allison Chandler, & Andrew Baughman, Erica Jones & Lindsey Barenz and 3 grandsons, Nick, Nolan & Danny Chandler. Email

Pat McCarty, Director of Contemporary Music

Pat McCarty is Epiphany's contemporary and youth music director. He not only has experience leading contemporary worship, but has acted as a consultant with numerous churches in Cincinnati, helping to build their praise bands, contemporary worship services and music programs. Pat lives in Loveland with his wife Peggy and children Chelsea and Thomas. In addition, Pat is the president of CJT Digital Design, a web design firm based in Loveland. Email

Anne Lee, Director of Children's Education

Anne lives in Loveland with her husband Chris and their children Jackson, Olivia and Savannah. They have been members of Epiphany 8 years. Anne has a BS in Nutrition from Drexel University in Philadelphia and been part of hospital Nutrition Support teams for 18 years. She has taught Sunday school for 8 years, served on Outreach Committee, Nominations Team, chaired Nurture Committee and chaired the Fall Festival. If you can't find Anne at Epiphany she is probably volunteering at Loveland schools. email

Kathy Millburg, Manager of Member Engagement

Kathy and her husband, Mark, have lived in Loveland since 2003 and joined Epiphany in 2004. They have two grown daughters, Stacy and Katy. Kathy retired in June, 2005 after teaching elementary school for 32 years.  She is active in Love-in-Action at Epiphany and was Membership Secretary for a year before taking on additional duties in the position of Manager of Member Engagement. Kathy likes to spend time with family, read, and travel. Email

Jeff Winkleman, Audio-Visual Coordinator

Jeff Winkelman was born and raised in Cincinnati and has worked here in the Audio/Video industry since 1995. He is currently an instructor at Southern Ohio College and has several years of experience providing audio/video support for local churches. His emphasis is on the video side where he has created commercials, documentaries, promotional videos and award-winning short films.  email

Beth Price, Children's Music Coordinator. 

Beth and husband, Andy have been moved here from Eaton, Ohio and fell in love with life here.  They have two sons, AJ and Austin who are involved in many of the children's activities. 

Beth is a graduate of Bowling Green State University where she received her Bachelor of Science in Education degree.  She has also taken classes at the University of Dayton and Wright State University.  Beth was a teacher for children with severe behavior problems prior to becoming a mom.  She began volunteering in the children's music program at Epiphany when her oldest child was 4 years of age and has been active ever since.  Email

 

Linda Morckel, Elementary Education Coordinator.    

Linda and her husband KC live in West Chester with their daughter Aerin and son Christian.They have been coming to Epiphany since 1996.Linda has served in many ways at Epiphany.She was the Junior High Youth Director, facilitated some women’s studies and Disciple I (along with KC) several times, and served on the Spiritually Growing committee. She currently enjoys singing with the VIP choir.

Linda has degrees from Miami University and The University of Akron in Mass Communication and Elementary Education.She teaches swim lessons at the Lakota YMCA and tutors students out of her home.She enjoys reading, swimming and being with family and friends.  Email

Steve Mingus, Caretaker

Steve and his wife, Sally, have lived in Loveland since 1995 and became members of Epiphany in 1997. They have been married for 25 years and have three grown children, Michael, Julie, and Steven along with one grandson, Christopher. Steve retired in November 2006 from Duke Energy after working there for 36 years within Information Technology. He enjoys family, movies, walking and especially his iJoy.

Stacy McDowell, Wee Three Kings Director  

Stacy McDowell grew up in Goshen, Ohio. She and her husband, Tim, reside in Blue Ash and have been married for 14 years.They have two children, Cassy and Julia. Stacy is a graduate of Northern Kentucky University where she received her bachelor’s in Elementary Education. Before coming to Wee Three Kings Preschool, she spent three years as director of Anderson Hills Preschool.She enjoys scrapbooking, swimming, and spending time with her family.
